FALL IS IN SIGHT!! – CRISP MORNINGS, LOVELY WALKS IN THE FOREST HEARING THE LEAVES CRUNCH UNDERFOOT.
For those of us in the Washington DC metro area, it has been a hot muggy summer – I have stopped venturing out in the morning for a walk – can’t breathe well with the mask on. So, I ordered a slimline treadmill and walk indoors. That is not nearly as satisfying, but when the weather modifies, I will go out in the morning again and enjoy the walk, listen to the birds, hear the leaves crunch and enjoy the less humid, crisp air!
I have been occupied with reading and listening to audio books a lot – too much in fact. I get addicted and can sit for hours reading and/or listening.
Spending time Zooming has also been taking up time – I Zoom for board meetings, Zoom for virtual Cinema Club, Zoom for virtual Book club and Zoom just to talk with friends. After a couple of hours, it was getting a bit uncomfortable sitting so I switched out chairs and sit now in a more cushioned one. My cat, Jordan, sits in the other chair next to me when I Zoom using my laptop (instead of my iPad). She likes to be close.
I watched an Opening ceremony and Fire ceremony with 12 Mongolian Shamans this week. This was sponsored by the Society of Shamanic Practice (SSP) of which I am a member. The shamans journeyed and spirits let them know that the USA and South American is seen as having a huge black dragon with its tail waving wildly – represents dark cloud which includes the virus and probably other dark energies swirling. They agreed to journey to remove the black dragon – the fire ceremony went a long way in decreasing the dragon’s intensity, but they will continue journeying for a total of 14 days.
In the Q and A session, the host Mongolian, said that people have forgotten nature – we come from nature, are part of nature and return to nature. Mother nature is speaking and unhappy.
I debated whether to continue offering my Intro to Shamanism and intro to Shamanic journeying, Soul Retrieval, Divination since the response was small. But I after the Mongolian shaman again mentioned the importance of nature – shamanism is nature centered, I continue to offer this service as a way to reconnect to nature, animals and all living things.
I hope you have time spend join one or more of my upcoming Shamanic sessions –
